20kV substation construction on both sites alongside gridline connection works for TLI Ltd., creation of site compound, supply of site set-up on behalf of Astatine Ltd – once complete it will produce 18MW of power.
Ardnadoman:
Construction of new 20kV substation in Loughrea, Galway with new grid works including joint bays, crossings and re-instatement. Installation of the substructure, setting out grids & tables alongside specialised piling for the specific ground conditions, modules install and ducting works together with the invertors and DC connections. Works were carried out over 7-acres across the solar farm in Ardnadoman with construction and installation of the Traffo base was also a component of the works.
Roouan:
Construction of new 20kV substation in Ballinasloe, Roscommon with over 2km of new grid works including joint bays, crossings, HDD drilling and re-instatement of regional and rural roads. Installation involved setting the ducting works and DC connections. Works were carried out over 7-acres across the solar farm in Roouan with construction and installation of the Traffo base.
